Project: photograph Denver Capitol Center Building Rooftop and Common Areas

Commercial construction management company EJCM, LLC. wanted interior and exterior architecture photography in downtown Denver for their latest remodel project of the Capitol Center Building’s rooftop. They wanted sunrise photos for the outside rooftop patio to showcase the view of the downtown Denver skyline. The furnished patio offered expansive unobstructed views, which were just as important in capturing as the patio itself.
The project consisted of expanding the use of the top floor. This included interior amenities such as the café, meeting room, lounge, and an outdoor rooftop deck.
Each area was captured with full morning sunlight, which offered a nice glow of light through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The kitchen, to me, was the focal point with beautiful tile work and stunning views of Denver’s Capitol building across the way. The warming glow of the sun was a wonderful detail of the views from inside the penthouse floor.
This photoshoot took just one hour and cost the client $400 for the entire scope of work. Images were used on EJCM’s website and marketing brochures.
