Information and Rates for Commercial and Architecture Photography

Our Process

Construction and architectural projects often take years of planning, designing, and craftsmanship. Knowing this, it’s important to capture the story and space that reflects your vision, company, and project in the best light possible.

Knowing this and understanding your time is valuable, we work to combine efficiency with quality—all at a rate you can afford.

What are your rates?

Our architecture photography fees are structured as follows. For a detailed custom quote tailored to your project, please contact us directly.

Creative Fee: This fee covers pre-production, planning, travel time, setup, time on location, minor staging (if needed), and post-production, including all edits and retouching. An average photoshoot results in 15-20 final images.

Standard Licensing Fee: This is a per-image fee that largely depends on the client’s needs.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! We want to “reward” our clients for sticking with us and sharing with others in the industry, so for every 10th photo shoot you book with Mountain Light Photography (within the same calendar year), a 15% discount will be applied.

Also, for existing clients, we offer a 20% discount for each referral. *The 20% discount will be applied to your next booking once the referral makes a booking.

Do you offer cost-sharing?

Yes! We also offer cost-sharing agreements. This is a great way to reduce the cost of an architectural photography project by involving multiple parties. For each additional party that agrees to the cost-sharing agreement, a 30% fee will be added to the project to include them in the licensing agreement. The total is then split among all parties, resulting in a lower cost per party. Here is an example:

How it works:

  • Each party agrees to the cost-sharing before the photo shoot
  • Each party receives all photos
  • One client gives direction and a shot list
  • One client provides feedback
  • One client is billed

Do you travel for photo shoots?

Yes, as a Denver Colorado photographer, we work with clients throughout Colorado, but we mostly cover projects along the Front Range, from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins.

Our Quality Guarantee

Mountain Light Photography stands behind every project with our satisfaction guarantee. We work closely with clients throughout the process to ensure the final images meet or exceed expectations and effectively showcase the architectural vision.
